For the Omelette:

  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

For the Beef Filling:

  • 1/2 pound of ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Cheese Filling:

  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

Optional Garnishes:

  • Chopped fresh chives
  • Sliced avocado
  • Sour cream

Instructions

Follow these steps to create your cheddar-stuffed beef omelette:

Step 1: Prepare the Beef Filling

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until the beef is browned.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove the beef filling from the heat and set aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Omelette Mixture

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Step 3: Cook the Omelette

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter.
  2. Once the butter has melted and is slightly bubbling, pour in half of the egg mixture.
  3. Tilt the skillet to ensure the egg covers the entire base in an even layer.
  4. Cook the egg for about 2-3 minutes or until the edges start to set.

Step 4: Add the Fillings

  1. Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese on one side of the omelette.
  2. Add half of the beef filling on top of the cheese.
  3. Using a spatula, carefully fold the omelette over the filling to enclose it.
  4. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the cheese to melt.

Step 5: Serve

  1. Transfer the omelette to a plate and garnish with optional toppings like chopped chives, sliced avocado, or sour cream.
  2. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients for the second omelette.
